ABOUT ELAINE PEACOCK
Elaine is a full-time professional, experienced vocalist and entertainer who shares her talent, joy, and love of music at fairs, banquets, special events, social and church organizations, assisted living and care centers, weddings, receptions, and funerals and provides special music and ministry at churches. She entertains with a variety of styles of music and songs from the decades, Broadway as well as traditional and contemporary gospel and country - and you will enjoy her ”Patsy Cline Tribute”.
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
In 2004, she was the featured singer with the Dakota Classic Band at Rivercade Festival in Sioux City, IA; 4th of July Celebration, Centerville, SD, and Riverboat Days in Yankton, SD. She had the opportunity to perform at many events besides fairs such as “2004 Freedom Fest”, Mitchell & Beresford, SD Art Festivals, featured singer at the Dakota Opry Show in Gayville, SD, Relay for Life Events, and opened a concert for traditional country music singer, Claude Gray in Sioux City, Iowa. She performed at the Country MusicFest & RV Rally at Hastings and the National Traditional Country Music Festivals in LeMars and Missouri Valley IA. In 2005, she shared the stage with Nashville Singer Songwriter, Terry Smith at McCool Junction NE and Akron Iowa; Bob and Sheila Everhart at Elk Point SD and Tex and Mary Schutz at Wayne NE and Akron IA.
In 2005 she recorded and released two new cd projects - Elaine Peacock Sings Patsy Cline and Smiling Down. In June of 2005 she recorded the custom album "Smiling Down" for Dennis Morgan, Nashville Hall of Fame Songwriter, who wrote "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool". He produced this album - you will enjoy original gospel music and unique talent.
In 2005 Elaine was also a featured perfomer at the Christian Music Festivals at Family Fest in Council Bluffs Ia and Lifelight in Sioux Falls, SD.
In 2006, Elaine will again share the stage with Terry Smith at her hometown of York NE on March 31 and again at her current place of residence in Elk Point SD on July 15th for Heritage Music Fest. She will appear in Mason City, IA at FaithFest 2006 and agian at 2006 Family Fest as well as many town celebrations, fairs, churches and events.

SQUARE DANCE CALLER/INSTRUCTOR
As a licensed square dance caller-instructor, Elaine can teach or call a little do-si-do at your event! She delighted the audience by calling a little square dancing with the local square dancers in attendance at the York and Colfax Co Fairs!! For audience participation, she can teach an introductory to square dance. She is a popular square dance caller in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming, and Michigan. .
PROMOTER OF EVENTS Elaine also is a promoter for music events and coordinates shows with other performers; and, she is coordinator for the Dakota Thurston Co Fair Talent Show.
OTHER INTERESTS
Elaine loves to spend time with her family, enjoys traveling, dancing and singing with her husband Paul, and likes a good book. Her faith in God is the foundation for her life and she trusts in the plan He has in mind. Jeremiah 29:11

We enjoyed having Elaine as one our featured entertainers. She brought a bushel of talent and just the right amount of sparkle to our cast of entertainers. Our crowd of more than 750 (each day) people loved her. Her various sets on our Thursday gospel music celebration showcased her ability to share the wonderful story of Jesus Christ in song with sincerity and conviction. She is equally at ease performing country music, as we saw during her Friday & Saturday sets, when she had the crowd in the palm of her hand. She is also a committed promoter. When we booked her for our event, she put out flyers and she brought several fans and friends. A well rounded entertainer, Elaine not only entertains with a variety of styles of music, she is an experienced square dance caller with quite a following; she even called a tip to 3 squares at our country dance with the band!
