My friend, Louise in Grimes, Iowa, wrote: " Thank you so much for the CD!! How strange and interesting, the way God works in our lives! First, our prayer group is studying the Lords Prayer, having just completed Revelations. Both are hope and worship centered. Then, I'm reading "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren, which is about praising and worshiping and loving God. Then I get the CD, and the first song is about praise, worship and loving God! Wow. And how beautiful that song is !! It's my favorite.
I agree with you, Elaine's voice is wonderful. There are quite a few lines that she sings so differently, and so very beautifully. I absolutely love the way she's done Amazing Grace. The song that always makes me cry. The way Elaine does the middle verse is simply "amazing"! I've never heard that version, where it's "jumpy" in between the "sad and moving" parts. I really really, love it.
