Comfortable with audiences of all sizes, ages and interests, she easily engages the crowd through her spirit, energy and enthusiasm! She delights in walking right down into the audience to shake hands, touch a shoulder, chat with the crowd and share her personal experiences. She touches their hearts with messages of hope and inspiration delivered with sincere conviction. Her unique, personal style encourages audience participation. They will be clapping along, smiling ear to ear and begging for more songs! Elaine offers a variety of music from songs of the 1900's to now, a Patsy Cline tribute show, Country, Gospel, Childrens' Christmas, Patriotic. She has recorded and released seven CD's- "Country Rose Praise", which includes favorite and original gospel hymns; a Patsy Cline Gospel Country; and "Smiling Down", "Everyday is Christmas", and "Spirit of America" with original Gospel, Christmas and Patriotic songs written or published and produced by Nashville Hall of Fame songwriter, Dennis Morgan, who wrote "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool and George Strait's recent hit "River of Love". Dennis selected Elaine after hearing her on a Christian radio station as he was traveling through Sioux City, Iowa, from his recording studio in Minnesota. He called and offered her the opportunity to record his gospel songs, which was one of many answered prayers! A Childrens' & a Gospel Album are now available An award-winning singer/songwriter and 2009 National Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee, she has sung at churches, county and state fairs, women's events, city events, Country and Christian music festivals, retreats, receptions and corporate events. She particularly enjoys singing for veterans, senior citizens, children and churches. A treat for her is to be joined by her husband, Paul, who sings like Jim Reeves. They team up for a very talented, enjoyable show with a special flair. Elaine is highly sought after as an entertainer and her touring schedule fills up fast. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Elaine is an experienced band singer with 3 country bands and was a member of a music ministry group for 10 years. In 2004 she performed at the SD Art Festivals, featured singer at the Dakota Opry Show in Gayville, SD, Relay for Life Events, and opened a concert for traditional country music singer, Claude Gray in Sioux City, Iowa. She performed at the 2004 & 2005 Country MusicFest & RV Rally at Hastings and the National Traditional Country Music Festivals in LeMars and Missouri Valley IA. In 2005, she shared the stage with Nashville Singer Songwriter, Terry Smith at McCool Junction NE and Akron Iowa; Bob and Sheila Everhart at Elk Point SD and Tex and Mary Schutz at Wayne NE and Akron IA. In 2005 she recorded and released two new cd projects - Elaine Peacock Sings Patsy Cline and Smiling Down. In June of 2005 she recorded the custom album "Smiling Down" for Dennis Morgan, Nashville Hall of Fame Songwriter, who wrote "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool". He produced this album - you will enjoy original gospel music and unique talent. In 2005 Elaine was also a featured perfomer at the Christian Music Festivals at Family Fest in Council Bluffs Ia and Lifelight in Sioux Falls, SD. In 2006, Elaine will again shared the stage with Terry Smith at her hometown of York NE on March 31 and again at her current place of residence in Elk Point SD on July 15th for Heritage Music Fest. She will appear in Mason City, IA at FaithFest 2006 and agian at 2006 Family Fest as well as many town celebrations, fairs, churches and events. In 2006 She released "Everyday is Christmas" CD with songs written/published and produced by Songwriter Dennis Morgan in 2007 & 2008 She recorded and released a new patriotic album "The Spirit of America" also produced by Dennis Morgan In 2009 She recorded 2 new albums.....a childrens album with fun songs with a message..."The World is Full of Colors" songs written, published & produced by Dennis Morgan as well as a tradtional gospel hymn album..."Hymns for Him" produced by Dennis Morgan and also features special guest, Paul Peacock, ..... Elaine's wonderful husband who also has a great voice!
SQUARE DANCE CALLER/INSTRUCTOR As a licensed square dance caller-instructor, Elaine can teach or call a little do-si-do at your event! She delighted the audience by calling a little square dancing with the local square dancers in attendance at the York and Colfax Co Fairs!! For audience participation, she can teach an introductory to square dance. She is a popular square dance caller in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming, and Michigan.
